434th ARW names top 2010 Airmen

As the year comes to a close, this time is often used to gather together and reflect on another busy year chalked full of accomplishments.

It is also during this time that 434th Air Refueling Wing officials gather together to select the best of the best performers from the past year and recognize them for their accomplishments. For 2010, the annual award winners are:

434th ARW Airman of the Year:
Senior Airman Christina Alotaibi, 434th Security Forces Squadron

434th ARW Noncommissioned Officer of the Year:
Tech Sgt. Zachary Gaumer, 434th Logistics Readiness Squadron

434th ARW Senior NCO of the Year:
Senior Master Sgt. Timothy O'Brien, 434th LRS

434th ARW First Sergeant of the Year:
Senior Master Sgt. William Hamilton, 434th SFS

The award winners will now go on to compete at the 4th Air Force level against other Airmen in their respective categories.

The 434th ARW is the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve Command. Airmen and aircraft from the wing routinely deploy around the world in support of the Air Force mission.
