As you celebrate with your family and friends, please take a moment and remember all our troops serving away from their families and friends during this holiday season. Grissom is one of only five Air Force Reserve Command bases in the nation and is home to Air Force Reserve, Army Reserve and Marine Corps Reserve units. The base's host unit, the 434th Air Refueling Wing, is equipped with KC-135R Stratotanker aircraft and plays an import role in the Air Force's aerial refueling mission.
