You can help make this year’s Air Force Ball a hole-in-one!

The Reserve Officer Association’s Military Appreciation Golf Outing is scheduled to be held at Rock Hollow Golf Course, Peru, Indiana, July 29, 2017 to help fund the 434th Air Refueling Wing’s upcoming 2017 Air Force Ball.

“This is going to be a special event,” said Col. Larry Shaw, 434th ARW commander. “The course is amazing and it’s a great opportunity to help us help ourselves and support our Air Force Ball.”

All proceeds from the event will go toward funding for the ball, and the winning team will receive four tickets for the event.

“Invite your neighbors, invite your friends, invite anyone who loves to have fun, golf, and be a part of something special,” he added.

The tournament begins at 9 a.m. and will consist of four-person teams with Scramble rules. Entry is $50 per person.

“We’ve added a few twists to the tournament to make it even more enjoyable,” Shaw said.

Each team may purchase up to four mulligans for $5 each, allowing them to take do-overs on shots. Teams may also purchase 24 inches of string for $10, which can be divided up and used to relocate the ball.

The 2017 Air Force Ball is scheduled to be held at the Kokomo Event Center, September 23. Tickets are available for purchase from your unit representative.
