Grissom announces quarterly award winners

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. --  Each quarter Grissom recognizes the best of the best with its quarterly award program.

This quarter was no different as the 434th Air Refueling Wing leadership recently announced the award winners for the January through March 2016 timeframe.

Listed below are the winners from the second quarter of 2016.

Airman category:

Senior Airman Desiree Mora-Mundt, 434th Aerospace Medicine Squadron

Noncommissioned Officer category:

Staff Sgt. Christina Howland, 434th Operations Support Squadron

Senior NCO category:

Senior Master Sgt. Steven Kulik, 434th AMDS

Company Grade Officer category:

Capt. Dustin Shimp, 434th Maintenance Group

Field Grade Officer category:

Maj. Arthur Allen, 74th Air Refueling Squadron

Civilian Non-Supervisor category:

Terry Bodkin, 434th Mission Support Group

Civilian Supervisor category:

Tammy Schlarf, 434th MSG

Nominees are evaluated on a host of items based on their level of responsibility, but common to all is how they impact Grissom, the Air Force and their communities.

The 434th ARW is the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve Command. Men and women from the Hoosier Wing routinely deploy around the world in support of the Air Force mission.
