Grissom announces Airman promotions

From their first to their last, America's Airmen earn each stripe of rank.

Nearly  20 434th Air Refueling Wing Airmen earned their next stripe as they were recently promoted here. Their names are as follows:

To master sergeant:
- Roland Benitez, 434th Logistics Readiness Squadron
- Angelique Hall, 434th LRS
- Anthony Smith, 434th LRS
- Carl Steele, 434th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron

To technical sergeant:
- Samuel Patrick, 434th Civil Engineer Squadron
- Courtney Storey, 72nd Air Refueling Squadron
- David Taylor, 434th AMXS
- Aaron Widner, 434th ARW

To staff sergeant:
- Shauna Allen, 434th ARW
- Mark Shipley, 434th AMXS
- Daniel Taylor, 434th Maintenance Squadron
- Joel Ward, 434th CES

To senior airman:
- Anthony Jones, 434th Force Support Squadron
- Gabriella Martinez, 434th AMXS

To airman 1st class:
- Stephanie Briones, 434th FSS
- Alyssa Hood, 434th Aerospace Medicine Squadron

The 434th ARW is the largest KC-135R Stratotanker in the Air Force Reserve Command. Airmen and aircraft from the 434th ARW routinely deploy around the world in support of the Air Force mission and U.S. strategic objectives.
