Multi-cultural dinner to be held in May

Grissom officials have announced plans to hold the base’s annual Multi-Cultural Dinner on Saturday May 6, to coincide with the 434th Air Refueling Wing’s main Unit Training Assembly. The theme for this year’s dinner is “The Soldier.”  

The event will be held at the Base Dining Facility and commence at 4:30 pm. The dinner will include an international buffet, slideshow, and entertainment.  Retired Air Force Maj. Gen Joseph McNeil is tenatively scheduled to be the guest speaker.  General McNeil is a graduate of North Carolina A&T University and served in the Air Force for 37 years.

Cost is $3.55 for officers and civilians and is free to enlisted personnel if in UTA status.
