Stibbe earns Meritorious Service Medal

Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. Timothy P. Stibbe was recently awarded the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal.

He is the son of Bernard and Bonnie Stibbe of Janesville, Wisc.

Sergeant Stibbe has more than 22 years of military service and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his outstanding job performance, technical skills and dedication to duty.

He an inflight air refueling technician with the 434th Air Refueling Wing. In this role, he is part of a three-person aircrew on the KC-135R Stratotanker and plays a vital role in mid-air refueling missions.

The KC-135R Stratotanker is the Air Force's primary aerial refueler and can off-load fuel to a variety fighter, bomber and cargo aircraft.

The 434th Air Refueling Wing is the largest KC-135R unit in the Air Force Reserve Command and its people and aircraft routinely deploy around the world to support various Air force missions.
