Feltis named Grissom's NCO of the Quarter Published March 6, 2007 By Senior Airman Chris Bolen 434th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- Air Force Reserve Tech. Sgt. Christopher Feltis, 434th Maintenance Operation Flight, was recently named Non-Commissioned Officer of the Quarter for Grissom Air Reserve Base. Tech Sgt Feltis is a production scheduler with over 12 years of combined military service. In his position, the Logansport resident Tech Sgt. Feltis is responsible for coordinating the repair, upkeep, overhaul, and utilization of Grissom's KC-135R Stratotanker aircraft. The award is given to service members who demonstrate exceptional expertise, professionalism, and advanced skills in their jobs, while supporting the mission at Grissom ARB and the Air Force Reserve Command. Sergeant Feltis was previously named NCO of the Quarter for the 434th Maintenance Group. However, the base award caught him off guard. "I was very surprised about winning the Wing award," he admitted. Among his notable achievements was earning Top Graduate honors at his technical school with a perfect score and developing a matrix chart to track time compliance technical order compliance for his department. Additionally, he received an associate's degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force
