Retiree day to feature information fair Published June 20, 2008 GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind., -- The 2nd annual Military Retiree Appreciation Day at Grissom will be held Friday, Aug. 22, and will feature a number of activities, including a special information fair. Recent additions to the fair lineup include Grissom's legal office and military personnel flight. The goal of the information fair is to provide military retirees, their dependents, and soon-to-to retirees with data on programs and benefits available to them. It is anticipated the information fair will have 20 organizations on hand to provide vital information to the retiree population. The Military Retiree Appreciation Day will also feature a complimentary picnic style lunch, commissary case lot sale, and a DJ with big band style music. Additional updates will be posted to the Grissom web site when they become available.
