Marine Corps League to be part of retiree appreciation day Published July 2, 2008 GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind., -- The number of groups who will be part of the Military Retiree Appreciation Day at Grissom ARB continues to grow. The most recent addition is the Marine Corps League. The appreciation day is Friday, August 22, 2008. This is the second year Grissom has held a Military Retiree Appreciation Day. This year's Military Retiree Appreciation Day will include a complimentary picnic style lunch and information fair. Groups scheduled to be a part of the information fair include TRICARE, Delta Dental, American Legion, VFW, Navy Club of Lafayette, Marine Corps League, Air Force Association, Grissom Air Museum, National Military Family Association and the paralyzed Veterans Administration.
