SFS conducts land navigation training

  • Published
The 434th Security Force Squadron conducted land navigation training during a recent unit training assembly...and added a few twists to make the training more enjoyable for their fire team members.

In addition to getting from point A to point B via compass heading and pace counts, the individual fire teams competed among each other several other activities, including putting on the chemical warfare ensemble, a race wearing flak vest, helmet and rifle, and a competition to balance rifles on their forearms.

While the training was serious the other facets helped increase esprit de corps and camaraderie.
