Thirteen Airmen awarded Aerial Achievement Medals

For sustained meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight, 13 Grissom Airmen were recently awarded the Aerial Achievement Medal.

For award of this medal, achievements must be accomplished with distinction above and beyond that normally expected of professional Airmen.

- Capt. Daniel Keeney, 434th OSS
- Capt. Timothy McBee, 74th ARS
- 1st Lt. Jacob Creel, 72nd ARS
- 1st Lt. Jessica Hodson, 74th ARS
- Master Sgt. John English, 74th ARS
- Tech. Sgt. Jason Bireley, 434th OSS
- Tech. Sgt. Jerald Cummings, 72nd ARS
- Staff Sgt. Brandon Toth, 74th ARS

The 434th OSS, 72nd ARS and 74th ARS are all part of the 434th Air Refueling Wing, the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve Command. The 434th ARW plays an important role in the Air Force's aerial refueling mission.
