Grissom Community Council leaders for 2012

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. --  The Grissom Community Council recently confirmed its key leadership positions for 2012, including executive board members, regional directors and committee  chairpersons.   

Those selected for key positions and their titles are:
President: Tom Weatherwax
Vice President: Dr. John Gilpin
Secretary: John Stackhouse
Treasurer: Brian Wright
Kokomo Regional Directors: Jan Briscoe and Jean Lushin
Peru Regional Directors: Jim Yates and Gary Beebe
Logansport Regional Directors: Dave Arnold and Jim Price
Wabash Regional Directors: Dr. Robert Beckett and Hal Job
Advisory Committee: Jay Kendall
Membership Committee: Dave Shearer
Deployment Support Committee: Brian Wright
Finance Committee: Brian Wright
Social Committee: Joan Lake

The GCC is a civilian, nonprofit organization that provides support to the Air Force, Army and Marine units located at Grissom ARB. The council is incorporated under provisions of the Indiana Nonprofit Corporation Act of 1991. It is authorized to operate within the confines of Grissom ARB by the provisions of AFI 34-223 and sanctioned by the 434th Air Refueling Wing commander.

The GCC executive board meets monthly with general membership meetings held periodically. Many of the GCC members come from the surrounding Howard, Miami, Cass and Wabash counties.
