Happy Father's Day

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. --  During this Father's Day, please take a moment to remember those who are deployedt away from their homes and families. Many members of America's military routinely miss special occasions, like Father's Day, in order to help keep our nation safe.

Grissom is home to the 434th Air Refueling Wing, the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve Command, as well as three Army Reserve units and a Marine Corps Reserve communications detachment.

Airmen, Soldiers and Marines from Grissom routinely deploy around the world in support of Department of Defense missions and U.S. strategic objectives.
