It is that time of year again, when people gather with family and friends to celebrate and give thanks for all the good in their lives.

As people around the country gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, Grissom would also like to give thanks to all of the men and women who serve in the Armed Forces, whether at home or overseas.

Service members are deployed all around the world protecting America and our freedoms. We should all give thanks for their sacrifice, just as they will be giving thanks for all of our support.

For those service members away from home during the Thanksgiving holiday, they are part of a much larger family that will always be there to protect and support them no matter where they are.

The 434th ARW is the largest KC-135R Stratotanker unit in the Air Force Reserve Command. Men and women from the Hoosier Wing routinely deploy around the world in support of the Air Force mission.
