The Director of Psychological Health’s goal is to maximize the support for you and your family at a most sensitive time in your life, while showing you the respect and dignity you deserve. They offer support and referrals for solution-focused resources to improve outcomes and positively influence total health and well-being. They also provide leadership consultation, short-term problem solving, enhanced referral and resource coordination, crisis response to a myriad of behavioral health concerns to promote health

Family Advocacy Program (FAP)

The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) focuses on building healthy Air Force communities by preventing, intervening in and treating family maltreatment. The Family Advocacy components include Prevention education, training and collaboration to help strengthen military families. FAP is located at Wright-Patterson, please reach out to the Director of Psychological Health for a referral.

The IG ensures that the grievances of all complainants and the best interests of the Air Force are resolved through unbiased investigation, with the goal of improving the discipline, preparedness, and combat effectiveness of the entire wing.

 

 

Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC)

MFLC’s offer free, confidential, face-to-face non-medical counseling to support you with military and family life challenges like improving relationships at home and work, stress management, adjustment and deployment concerns, marital problems, parenting and grief and loss. Apart from when there is harm to self or others, abuse, and domestic violence all services are private and confidential. The MFLC is available on UTA weekends. The SAPR program is a DoD-wide initiative aimed at improving the quality of life for victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment crimes, with the Air Force providing both Restricted and Unrestricted Reporting options for these incidents. Sexual assault is defined as intentional sexual contact that involves force, threats, intimidation, or abuse of authority, or occurs when the victim cannot consent, encompassing a range of serious offenses under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), including rape, aggravated sexual contact, and forcible sodomy. If you or someone you know has faced sexual assault or harassment, please reach out.

Victim's Council

Victims' Counsel provides confidential legal advice for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, interpersonal violence, and sexual harassment. They protect your rights, advocate for your choices, and represent you in legal proceedings. Working solely for you and independent of any chain of command, they ensure your voice is heard. To request a Victims' Counsel, contact the SARC, FAP, or Legal Office. If you want to keep your report restricted, reach out to them or a Victim Advocate, Chaplain, or healthcare provider.

Security Forces provide law enforcement, force protection, and anti-terrorism capabilities, while First Responders handle emergencies such as fires, medical situations, and natural disasters. They work together to ensure the well-being of Airmen by responding to incidents, conducting routine patrols, and providing specialized training.
