Base showcases environmental programs during Arbor Day event

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- David Hughes, Grissom base civil engineer, talks with John Gilpin and Col. William T. "Tim" Cahoon about ongoing environmental projects on base after an Arbor Day ceremony held here April 29. Mr. Gilpin is the 434th Air Refueling Wing honorary commander and Colonel Cahoon is the 434th ARW commander. As part of the ceremony, several of Grissom's honorary commanders, including Mr. Gilpin, were invited to plant a tree. In total, six trees were planted during the event.
