9/5/2012 - GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- The 434th Air Refueling Wing will host a special base visit and KC-135R Stratotanker flight for more than 20 civilian employers of unit personnel today.
The goal of the visit and flight is to educate the employers on the mission of the base and of the important world-wide contributions made daily by Air Force Reserve Command personnel. Employers scheduled to participate in the flight and base visit represent various companies not only from Indiana, but Michigan and Illinois.
Grissom's Airmen and aircraft routinely deploy around the world in support of the Air Force mission and U.S. strategic objectives.
