1/22/2011 - GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Ind. -- More than 100 civic leaders, elected officials and business persons from the North Central Indiana region were in attendance at last night's combined Grissom Community Council annual dinner and "State of Grissom" presentation.

During the event, GCC officers for 2011 were elected and various presentations provided current information on the Grissom Air Museum, Grissom Aeroplex and Grissom Air Reserve Base.

Grissom ARB is one of only five Air Force Reserve Command bases in the nation and is home to Air Force, Marine and Army personnel.  The host unit is the 434th Air Refueling Wing and it is equipped with KC-135R Stratotankers

Check back for follow-up stories on the GCC meeting and State of the Base next week.
